Congressman Ike Skelton, chair of the House armed services committee will give a 30 minute address at Westminster College, at the site of the famous Iron Curtain speech, on the subject of Iraq. He will then have a question/ answer session. Despite the reluctance of Kenny Hulshof to take part in a forum, this should be very interesting. Come help call for an end to Neocon visions of U S World domination.

Jody Williams, who won the Nobel Peace Prize for her anti-landmine efforts, believes the future is dim unless people take responsibility to make the world a better place. Her speech in Columbia this Friday April 13th 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Ellis Library Auditorium is titled “individuals can make a difference.” Sponsored by the MU Peace Studies Department.

The speech is free and open to the public. Ms. Williams will take questions from the audience.

Thanks to the kind collaboration of the Campus Democrats, we have a very nice venue for the weekend at Memorial Union, and highly respected and experienced trainers from DFA will make this a productive event, sure to help us take back Missouri.

Give the Comedy Channel a rest for one night and come to a lecture by intelligent design/creationist, Dr. John Marshall of the MU School of Medicine entitled, "Intelligent Design: Is it Religion or Science?" on Tuesday, April 24 at 7:00 PM at the Lester Bryant Auditorium (M105) on the MU campus.
