The reincarnated Jefferson City Democracy for America MeetUpwill have its second meeting on the second of February at 7PM.

Suggested topics for discussion/action for the meeting are:

1.) Ways we can coordinate with other local Mid-MO groups such as Democracy for America in Columbia, the Cole County Democratic organization, Peaceworks and local mainstream social and religious organizations for mutual support and inspiration.

2.) Identifying and supporting local liberal/progressive candidates to help them sustain their organizations and the principles for which they stand.

3.) Plan for various events such a sponsoring Town Hall meetings, debates, screenings of important films and producing programs on JCTV.

4.) Formulate plans to defeat anti-evolution Missouri House Bill 35.

Most of all:
We want to hear from you – your dreams, your goals, your ideas on how to take this country back. Enough with the self-flagellation and the post mortems already. It’s time to get up, get out and get organized!
